NEW! EOps NOISEZERO Wireless N Tag
FAQ:
Question:
I don’t have an iphone but i have a macbook pro mid 2015 without T2 chip. If i borrow an iphone and setup the tag using my apple id. Remove my apple id in the iPhone can i locate it using my macbook?
Answer:
Your suggested method should work.
First check that your MacBook Pro has Find My app which you should be able to find under the MacBook's application folder.
Then as MacBook's Find My app does not allow you to add device/items, you can borrow an iPhone from your friend and setup the tag using your friend's iPhone Find My app with your Apple ID. During setup, you need to go to 'Items" then press "+" , and select "Add Other item" to search for our tag's pairing name "N Tag", and then you should be able to see its location on iPhone's Find My app .
Next, you will be able to see the tag with your MacBook's Find My app. Please double check its setup properly by using your Macbook's Find My app to check that you can also successfully see the location of the tag before you remove your Apple ID from your friend's iPhone.
Question:
Will the tag reset itself when i turnoff / change the battery of the tag?
Answer: Regarding the last question if the tag will reset itself when turnoff / change the battery of the tag, the answer is no unless you left the tag without battery for many days.

Question:
How much range they have?
Answer:
The tag sends out a secure wireless signal that can be detected by nearby Apple devices in the Apple Find My network. These Apple devices send the location of your tag to iCloud — then you can go to the Find My app and see it on a map. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. In short, it depends on whether there are Apple devices nearby to rely the location of the tag. Moreover, the frequency of location update depends on the Find My network.
